Speaker 1:

Hi, this is Whitney and you're listening to Exploring Peace Meditations. I invite you to find a pose or posture in which you can be present, breathe and ponder God's word. Today We'll explore a passage, using the contemplative practice of reading and meditating on God's word, called Lectio Divina. As you hear, the passage from Song of Solomon, chapter 4, verse 7, listen you are all together beautiful, my love. There is no flaw in you. Imagine these words coming to you from your Creator today. You are all together beautiful, my love. There is no flaw in you. I invite you now to reflect on what you're hearing. Consider this idea that you are all together beautiful.

Speaker 1:

In a world that often emphasizes imperfections and self-criticism, this statement is a powerful one to claim for self-acceptance and God's love. Reflect on what it means for you to be all together beautiful. Now listen again and respond in your heart, in your mind, in your prayers to God. Offer gratitude in the quiet for the message of love and acceptance that you may be hearing from God today. Thank the Divine Creator for seeing the beauty in you flaws and all.

Speaker 1:

Hear the passage one more time as you sit, with this invitation to respond you are all together beautiful, my love. There is no flaw in you. And now I invite you to rest, to let go of any thoughts or distractions, to simply sit in what has risen up in this time of quiet. Hold space to meditate on God's Word, to what God wants you to notice or hear, and soak in this concept of being flawless in the eyes of God's love as you breathe. Let this truth wash over you. Rest in God's love, receive God's peace and a little self-compassion.

Speaker 1:

Rest as you hear these words. You are all together. Beautiful, my love. There is no flaw in you, god. Thank you for seeing us, loving us, helping us live into your Word today, as it speaks to us this day. Continue to help us see your beauty in us, around us, through us. In your name, we pray Amen. I invite you to see, notice and recognize God's beauty this month.
